Describing what Zepto does is not easy. Which is why the Australian fintech innovator required a strategy that brought complex ideas back down to earth.

Zepto’s journey started in 2011 when its founders were merchants. After selling their skydiving business, they tackled their biggest frustration: payments. This led to the launch of Split Payments in 2019.

After partnering with Oliver Grace, they rebranded as Zepto, refining their positioning and messaging. In 2024, we had the opportunity to take the brand further with fresh ideas, creating a new identity inspired by the spirit of space travel and fintech’s shift toward bold, emotive storytelling.

The result? A playful, futuristic brand that shoots for the stars.

A new mascot for a pioneering brand

Pioneering the future of payments needs a brave explorer—and that’s “Zeppy.” As Zepto’s mascot, this charming space cadet embodies adventure and possibility, making the brand more memorable by connecting with people on a personal level.
